The Side Effect of Fear

This post is in responce to the comments received, which I find to be very true, down-to-earth, very relevant and sincerely mooted. What I write here is strictly my personal opinion to the comments in the perspective that I am focusing on i.e. in Puncakmaya House of Balance Living, and definately NOT a prescription for others. Further guidance cannot be done merely through these writings. Personalize attention or assistance may be required - Disclaimer :-)

Comment 1. “ What if I want to make a decision but do not know what decision to make?”

My respond and Possible Solution: I understand this question. I have encontered the same situations before. Believe me, I know how it feels. Nevertheless, I am afraid there is no short-cut answer to this question. But now I realized, there is a possible short answer : Free ourselves from being too dependent or influenced by others. The journey of life is for us to discover NOT others. This is our life. Make our stand. No one make decision for us. Others are there to help and assist. We decide. (And please, avoid the attitude of blaming other people for making decision that doesn’t work for us.) Believe me, the real answer is in us. Buried somewhere inside us. (Learn the art and science of Musyarah dan Istiqarah). Search for the truth, search in within, then we will find it. If we can’t, no one else can.

Another thing, if a decision needs to be made, to solve a problem. For our own goodness, make the decision. Do not procastinate. Ignoring a problem will not solve the problem. We all make mistakes sometimes. Look at it this way " mistakes enhanced our wisdom". There is seldom a perfect situation. Once a decision is made by virtue of musyarah and istiqarah, Tawakkal Allallah. Believe in ourselves and have faith in His devine guidance.

Comment 2: “I agree, in whatever we do, our first action would be to make a decision. eg decide to eat then we will search for things to eat and eat them as well. But, some of us are too afraid to make change either because we are afraid of the unfamiliar or because we are comfortable with the way things are. No rocking the boat. How can we shake ourselves into making a decision and applying those decisions as well?”

My respond and Possible Solution: Fear is common and natural. It is in born since the days of Adam and Eve. We all have fears in a way or another. I encounered fear contless time and again in my life. But as a reminder to all of us, FEAR or being afraid, is one of mankind greatest enemy! Under the Law of Reverse Effort, What we fear will happen! Every time we dwell on fear, we are actually giving energy to it. Empowering it more and more! The more we fear, the more will the possibility of it to happen. Some kids contracted fever due to Fear of ghost under their bed or in the dark. Many people who suffered from various ailments e.g cancer, died faster from the moment they realize they contracted the disease. Why? Because of their fear of death! Many people got cheated in business or in marital problems, because of their fear of being cheated. And many more cases. In short, Free ourselves from Fear.

Again, the most possible feedback here is HOW do we deal with fear? How to manage Fear? Can Fear be managed? Is there any technique? … Seek and we will find! As the saying goes “when the student is ready, the teacher will come”. I wish you all the best.

Salam and Peace be with you

Salam Aragang Tandik : Metal ‘EXPANDS’ and water ‘VAPORS’ when HEATED. This is the operating principle of the universe. ‘FEAR’ and it WILL happen. This is also the operating ‘principle’ of the universe we live in.

I still remember one of Nike’s slogan “JUST DO IT” otherwise nothing will happen.

I sincerely recommends “Scientific Prayer Therapy”, “Daem Breathing Techniques”, “ Internal Wellness Techniques”, and some practical tips @petua “Daily Routine Techniques”. You can find these in Puncakmaya House of Balance Living. I would be happy to share them with your goodself.

Salam Aiso : Welcome Aiso :-) Thanx for following this humble blog and Thanx a lot for sharing the words of wisdom. I like it. Sorry for the late reply, just got back from a 3 days in-house Teambuilding Synergy for Management Leaders “Towards Hi-Performance Organization”. I was invited to conduct @facilitate the program by one of the GLC companies.

To be honest, I do not have any personal definition of ‘Coward and Brave’ just yet. Maybe you can enlighten us more. But I believe, in many ways, ‘Coward and Brave’ is very much related to the ‘TRUTH’. “Berani kerana benar” “Takut kerana salah”.

It may also have something to do with the level of ‘CONFIDENCE’, ‘PASSION’, ‘PHOBIA’, ‘ZAUK’, etc. and could even in some way be related to ’Genetic’ :-)

Well, it is quite normal to have stomach-ace, the urge to nausea or even diarrhea, under stressful conditions. These are natural biological reactions in the body triggered by the ‘FLIGHT or FIGHT’ syndrome of stress.
